Mae Monroe  (born September 6, 1992) is a Vietnamese-American beauty entrepreneur, healing esthetician, bridal make-up artist, business consultant, and life coach. Her impeccable record of success in business, brow artistry and seamless make-up application led her to be awarded four distinct recognitions by Kansas City’s well-known newspaper, The Pitch: Best Aesthetician, Best Brow Artist, Best Make-Up Artist and Best Bridal Make-up Artist in all of Kansas City (2018).

 

Titled the "First & Only" Asian-American professional in her city to start a beauty business and become a six-figure income earner by the age of 26 (within four years of her start), Mae undoubtedly has lead a life of drive and determination. Mae built her business from the ground up at the young age of 21, where her ambition led her to work with high-end clientele and to collaborate with celebrity designers and stylists across states. She was recognized as the first Vietnamese Premier Sr. Sales Director in the Midwest for a multibillion-dollar company Mary Kay Cosmetics, where she trained women on sales and leadership and was also the youngest to achieve such success.

What distinguishes Mae from other beauty professionals is that she approaches skin in a more holistic and spiritual way. She is a level 3 Reiki healer; Reiki level 3 is also referred to as the ‘master level’ and is the highest level in this specialization one can achieve. Her belief and approach to beauty is that it should start from within and, thus, she focuses on healing and clearing the skin first. Through doing this, Mae facilitates her notion that a woman can fully thrive and feel empowered when she loves the skin that she is in.
